Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage team of 15+ warehouse associates through scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
- Implement lean practices to optimize inventory accuracy and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Coordinate with transportation teams to maintain efficient dock schedules
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational issues and escalate complex challenges to management
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-Hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and warehouse technology
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate diverse teams
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control methods and cycle counting
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Bachelor's preferred)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends during peak seasons
