Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution activities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates to achieve performance targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident-free operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure timely shipments and deliveries
- Analyze operational metrics to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements
- Prepare detailed reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational costs
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse management experience with team leadership responsibilities
- Forklift certification and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance standards
- Proven ability to optimize inventory control and reduce operational costs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with experience resolving operational challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
