Responsibilities
- Manage 15+ team members across 3 shifts, ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily compliance audits
- Optimize warehouse workflows using WMS systems to reduce turnaround time
- Coordinate inbound/outbound logistics with port authorities and carriers
- Conduct inventory audits and cycle counts with 99.5% accuracy
- Train staff on equipment operation and material handling procedures
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and implement continuous improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience in distribution/logistics
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training
- Proficient in inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in union/non-union environments
- Strong analytical skills with KPI-driven decision making
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
