Responsibilities
- Supervise 15+ team members in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement lean principles to optimize workflow and reduce processing time
- Conduct daily safety audits and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation and SOPs
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in high-volume distribution centers
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making abilities
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Excellent communication and conflict resolution capabilities
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
