Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor 10-15 warehouse staff through performance coaching and training
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols and inventory control procedures
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum efficiency and space utilization
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for seamless logistics coordination
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics for continuous improvement
- Resolve escalated customer inquiries and vendor communication issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA 10/30 certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick operational decisions
- Excellent leadership abilities with proven team development track record
- Valid Florida driver's license and clean MVR record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
