Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols
- Coordinate receiving, storage, and distribution of goods with precision and timeliness
- Implement and optimize inventory control systems to minimize discrepancies
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Manage workflow scheduling and resource allocation for peak efficiency
- Resolve operational issues and implement process improvements
- Generate performance reports and maintain accurate documentation
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory tracking software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
