Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a zero-accident workplace environment.
- Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of warehouse staff, conducting regular performance reviews.
- Manage inventory levels using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to prevent stock discrepancies and optimize storage space.
- Coordinate logistics with shipping and receiving departments to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Develop and monitor budgets for labor and operational costs, identifying areas for cost reduction.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction levels.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or a related field.
- Proven track record of leadership and team supervision.
- Familiarity with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic computer proficiency.
- Certified forklift operator and safety certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Supply Chain or Logistics is a plus.
