Responsibilities
- Operations Oversight: Direct and coordinate all daily warehouse activities, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure 100% accuracy and timely delivery.
- Team Leadership: Mentor, train, and supervise a team of warehouse associates, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory control systems to prevent shortages and reduce waste.
- Process Improvement: Analyze workflow processes and implement strategic improvements to maximize operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the routine maintenance and safety checks of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Leadership: Proven track record of supervising teams and managing performance in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certifications: Valid Forklift Operator Certification and OSHA 10/30 Hour training preferred.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Business or Logistics is a plus.
