Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring workflow efficiency and timely order fulfillment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and manage inventory discrepancies to minimize loss.
- Team Management: Hire, train, mentor, and schedule warehouse staff to maintain high productivity and morale.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA) to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement best practices to reduce costs and errors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics; supervisory experience required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and operate material handling equipment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, proficiency in MS Office, and excellent verbal communication skills.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime during peak seasons.
