Responsibilities
- Lead 15+ warehouse associates across receiving, picking, packing, and shipping operations
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain 5S compliance standards
- Optimize inventory accuracy through cycle counts and WMS system management
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Coach staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners)
- Analyze KPIs to drive productivity improvements and cost reduction
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues promptly
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA 30-hour training preferred
- Proficient in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication abilities for shift handovers and reporting
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree a plus
