Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Train and mentor warehouse staff on safety protocols and operational procedures
- Implement inventory control systems to maintain accurate stock levels
- Optimize workflow processes to maximize productivity and minimize costs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards
- Manage equipment maintenance and scheduling for forklifts and other machinery
- Prepare performance reports and communicate with senior leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in logistics/supply chain
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and inventory software
- Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate diverse teams
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends as needed
