Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 10-15 warehouse associates to meet productivity targets
- Implement and maintain OSHA compliance standards and safety protocols
- Manage inventory control systems, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to maximize efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare performance reports and analyze operational metrics for continuous improvement
- Coordinate with transportation, purchasing, and customer service departments for seamless operations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience with proven team leadership
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training certification
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS) and warehouse processes
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
