Responsibilities
- Supervise 10-15 warehouse staff, assigning daily tasks and ensuring productivity targets are met
- Implement and enforce OSHA safety protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment
- Manage inventory control systems, including cycle counts and reconciliation processes
- Coordinate with logistics team to optimize receiving, storage, and shipping workflows
- Train and mentor staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and best practices
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Resolve operational issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse/supervisory experience in a distribution center environment
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and inventory management software
- Forklift certification and experience with material handling equipment
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- High school diploma or GED; associate's degree in logistics preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends during peak seasons
