Responsibilities
- Manage 15-20 warehouse associates across receiving, storage, and shipping operations
- Implement OSHA safety protocols and maintain accident-free workplace records
- Optimize inventory control systems using WMS software and cycle counting
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment and dock scheduling
- Analyze KPIs including order accuracy, throughput rates, and labor productivity
- Train and develop staff on equipment operation (forklifts, pallet jacks) and SOPs
- Conduct daily warehouse walkthroughs and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30 certification or equivalent safety training credentials
- Proficiency in WMS platforms (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and material handling equipment expertise
- Strong problem-solving skills with data-driven decision making
- Excellent communication abilities for cross-departmental coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
