Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols, equipment operation, and best practices
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain accuracy and minimize losses
- Conduct regular safety audits and enforce OSHA compliance standards
- Coordinate with logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Generate performance reports and analyze operational metrics
- Resolve conflicts and maintain positive team morale
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervision experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Forklift certification and OSHA safety training
- Strong leadership skills with proven team management experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems and inventory management software
- Excellent problem-solving abilities under pressure
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and organizational skills
