Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Manage and mentor team of 10-15 warehouse associates through performance coaching
- Implement safety protocols and ensure OSHA compliance across all operations
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain accuracy and reduce waste
- Coordinate with transportation teams to ensure on-time delivery schedules
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and maintenance scheduling
- Generate operational reports and KPI tracking for continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficient in inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred
