The Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily operations of our distribution center, ensuring that inventory is managed efficiently and safely. You will lead a team of warehouse associates, conduct safety audits, and drive performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of warehouse associates to ensure high productivity and safety standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance protocols to minimize accidents.
- Manage inventory levels using our WMS (Warehouse Management System) and prepare inventory reports.
- Coordinate with logistics and shipping departments to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
- Handle personnel issues, schedule shifts, and resolve operational challenges.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role.
- Certified Forklift Operator (CFO) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
