Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and shipping activities
- Train and lead team of 10-15 warehouse associates using company-developed paid training modules
- Implement inventory control procedures to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Optimize workflow efficiency through Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Manage equipment maintenance and forklift operator certification programs
- Generate performance reports and recommend operational improvements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred)
- No prior warehouse experience required – comprehensive paid training provided
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer proficiency and willingness to learn WMS software
- Valid Florida driver's license (required for facility tours)
- Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends during peak seasons
