Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor weekend staff, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and company standards
- Optimize workflow efficiency while maintaining accuracy in shipping/receiving processes
- Conduct regular equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives for weekend shift productivity
- Manage inventory counts and resolve discrepancies in real-time
- Coordinate cross-functional communication between weekend teams and weekday leadership
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in fast-paced logistics environments
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution abilities
- Flexibility to work Saturdays and Sundays with rotating holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
