Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring products are handled with care.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming stock against packing lists and update inventory records accurately.
- Packing & Shipping: Package orders securely for shipment using appropriate materials and labeling.
- Equipment Operation: Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (certification preferred but not required for entry-level).
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times, including trash removal and sweeping.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and committed to a consistent work schedule.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when counting and packaging items.
- Basic Math: Comfortable with basic arithmetic for inventory and billing purposes.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
