Responsibilities
- Loading and Unloading: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and pallets using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Sort, check, and inspect merchandise for damages or discrepancies; accurately record stock levels.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision and speed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery and handheld scanners to maintain workflow efficiency.
- Workspace Maintenance: Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and safe by adhering to 5S standards.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing goods to ensure they meet company standards.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy in inventory and order fulfillment processes.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Communication: Basic ability to read and comprehend instructions, as well as communicate effectively with team leads.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Availability: Must be available to work immediately.
