Responsibilities
- Picking and Packing: Accurately select and pack merchandise for shipment according to order specifications and safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, perform cycle counts, and report discrepancies to management immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery (certification provided if needed).
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or errors, ensuring only high-quality products reach the customer.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in loading and unloading trucks efficiently during peak seasons.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or retail stocking is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on accuracy and follow detailed instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends if necessary.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
