Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and powered industrial trucks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and onto trailers.
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and complete necessary paperwork for all received and shipped goods.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow and ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Must be provided at time of interview).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a forklift in a professional warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging inventory.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).
