Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move, locate, stack, and organize inventory with precision
- Maintain accurate warehouse documentation including inventory counts and transfer logs
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety protocols and company maintenance procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient loading/unloading of trucks
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs immediately
- Support inventory control initiatives through cycle counting and stock rotation
- Maintain clean, organized work areas to prevent hazards and ensure operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse/forklift operation experience
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems and warehouse procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software operation
- Reliable transportation and consistent weekend availability
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
