Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials within warehouse and loading dock areas
- Verify inventory counts and document material movements using warehouse management systems
- Perform pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with weekend receiving team to ensure timely unloading of freight
- Support inventory audits and cycle count activities
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/forklift experience in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun, 6 AM - 4 PM)
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
