Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in high-volume warehouse environment
- Accurately receive, scan, and stage incoming shipments using RF scanners
- Maintain organized inventory control and cycle counting procedures
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless loading/unloading operations
- Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Support weekend inventory audits and stock rotation initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 2 years recent forklift experience in warehouse/distribution setting
- Proficiency with RF scanning technology and WMS systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work weekends (6 AM - 6 PM shifts) with overtime availability
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
