Responsibilities
- Operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts safely and efficiently to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and maintenance checks to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by scanning and logging stock movements into the WMS (Warehouse Management System).
- Ensure the organized and clean arrangement of inventory aisles, adhering to 5S standards.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to meet daily shipping and receiving deadlines.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (required) or ability to obtain one.
- Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability to work Friday through Sunday on a rotating schedule.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with inventory management software.
