Responsibilities
- Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Load/unload shipments with precision and maintain accurate inventory records
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and conduct pre-shift equipment inspections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Manage stock rotation and organize storage areas for maximum accessibility
- Assist with inventory audits and cycle count procedures
- Operate material handling equipment including pallet jacks and order pickers
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift operator license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating industrial forklifts
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as operational needs require
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking and documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
