As a Weekend Picker Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. This position is perfect for those seeking a stable career in warehousing with weekend flexibility.
Responsibilities
- Pick items from inventory using RF scanners and handheld devices according to pick tickets and orders.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) to ensure safe transit.
- Label packages correctly with shipping addresses and barcodes.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and powered pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety regulations and company standards.
- Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow during peak times.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) required.
- Basic reading and math skills for scanning barcodes and verifying quantities.
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not always required.
- Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or retail is a plus.
- Forklift certification is a strong advantage.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
