Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload freight trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual equipment.
- Inventory Management: Accurately scan and process incoming and outgoing inventory using WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Picking and Packing: Efficiently pick items from the warehouse floor and pack them securely for shipment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all orders meet quality standards before shipping.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance checks on forklifts and other warehouse machinery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and other staff members to ensure workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a history of punctuality and attendance.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail to prevent errors.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are required for some driving duties.
- Equipment Operation: Forklift certification is a plus but we will train the right candidate.
