Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure operational readiness and compliance with safety protocols.
- Manage inventory counts and document material movements accurately.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse workflows.
- Adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety guidelines at all times.
- Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory within the warehouse.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (e.g., OSHA-approved) with at least 1 year of recent experience.
- Ability to read and interpret warehouse documents, including shipping manifests and inventory reports.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems.
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required.
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends if needed.
