Responsibilities
- Pick and Pack: Accurately select and pack merchandise according to customer orders and shipping requirements.
- Inventory Management: Verify product descriptions, quantities, and quality against packing slips.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts (where certified), and RF scanners.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect packaging for damage and ensure proper labeling to prevent shipping errors.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Order Fulfillment: Meet daily and hourly production targets to ensure timely shipment of goods.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and supervisors to resolve inventory discrepancies.
Qualifications
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and the ability to follow complex instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to the facility.
- Basic Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to operate handheld scanning devices.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; a strong work ethic is the primary requirement.
