Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, scan, and process incoming inventory with 99% accuracy
- Optimize warehouse layout using FIFO/FEFO methodologies to maximize space utilization
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts to transport materials safely
- Perform cycle counts and maintain real-time inventory data in WMS systems
- Pack and ship orders according to customer specifications and carrier requirements
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain 5S compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve logistics challenges proactively
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1+ years warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA Forklift Certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to operational detail
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and shipping documentation
- Valid driver's license for occasional local deliveries
