Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 technology roadmap, prioritizing AI integration, quantum computing applications, and sustainable tech solutions
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing next-generation prototypes and production systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation
- Drive adoption of emerging technologies through internal education and external thought leadership
- Secure and manage R&D budgets exceeding $10M for future-focused initiatives
- Present strategic technology visions to C-suite executives and board members
- Mentor emerging tech talent through structured innovation programs
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology leadership with 5+ years in emerging tech strategy or R&D management
- Proven track record launching AI/quantum/sustainable tech solutions at scale
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, blockchain, or green tech
- Experience securing and managing multi-million dollar innovation budgets
- Exceptional strategic planning and cross-functional leadership abilities
- Published thought leadership in top-tier tech publications or conferences
- Strong network within Silicon Valley tech innovation ecosystem
