Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Produce actionable intelligence reports on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their business implications
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to integrate future-focused innovation into development roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and cross-functional leadership teams
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs to expand future intelligence networks
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to align organizational vision with future market realities
- Monitor and analyze geopolitical, economic, and social megatrends with potential 2026+ impact
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Business Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused planning
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies (GenAI, quantum computing, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strategic modeling software
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations or published foresight work
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally 2-3 times quarterly
