Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast emerging technologies, market trends, and societal shifts through 2026+ horizon scanning
- Develop and present strategic roadmaps for future-focused product development and market positioning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate and validate disruptive innovation concepts
- Partner with R&D to prototype and test futuristic solutions with real-world applications
- Author thought leadership content (whitepapers, reports, keynotes) on future scenarios
- Monitor global policy, regulatory, and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, Business Innovation, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech: AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR, and sustainable energy
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP, WFS) or innovation frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementation with measurable impact
