Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and quantify emerging technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop strategic frameworks for innovation prioritization and resource allocation
- Produce trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive decision-making
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Establish KPIs to track emerging market disruption and competitive positioning
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systemic thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data storytelling and visualization capabilities
- Experience publishing futures research or thought leadership content
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or Foresight Practitioner)
