Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate resilience) to develop 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives across tech, healthcare, and energy sectors
- Author quarterly trend briefs predicting market disruptions and competitive opportunities
- Design innovation pipelines integrating quantum computing and neurotech breakthroughs
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype future-proof business models and revenue streams
- Present strategic recommendations at industry summits (Web Summit, CES 2026)
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience as futurist/strategist at Fortune 500 or Big Tech
- Proven track record of predicting industry shifts (portfolio required)
- Expertise in systems thinking, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex insights
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioners)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or top-tier media
