- Scan horizon for 2026-relevant technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic AI)
- Develop 5-year innovation roadmaps aligned with market disruption vectors
- Lead 'Future Labs' initiatives with $5M+ annual R&D budgets
- Partner with C-suite to commercialize moonshot projects
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough IP
- Present at Davos-scale forums as industry thought leader
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record commercializing frontier technologies
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Physics, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in Nature/Science/IEEE
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis
- Proficiency in innovation frameworks (TRIZ, Blue Ocean Strategy)
