Responsibilities
- Analyze global tech, economic, and social trends to forecast 2026 market landscapes and disruptors
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps aligning with 2026 vision and organizational goals
- Lead scenario planning workshops to prepare for future uncertainty and black swan events
- Partner with R&D to identify and integrate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board through compelling data-driven narratives
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to track strategic initiatives' long-term impact
- Build and manage a network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
