Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026 market landscape
- Architect strategic innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions with 3-5 year implementation horizons
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for global market shifts, regulatory changes, and technological disruptions
- Present executive-level strategic briefings translating complex futures into actionable business priorities
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Drive cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across product development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or equivalent experience
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to synthesize complex global trends into actionable insights
- Track record of developing and implementing multi-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of futures research methodologies including Delphi analysis and cross-impact matrices
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence C-suite executives and diverse stakeholders
