Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps spanning 2026-2030 with measurable KPIs
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with market forecasts
- Author white papers on future technology impacts for industry thought leadership
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven project allocation
- Partner with policy teams to navigate regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
- Represent company at global tech summits and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in futurism or forecasting roles
- Advanced degree in Technology Forecasting, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or biotech integration
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or major tech publications
- Experience managing innovation budgets exceeding $3M
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
