Responsibilities
- Design and implement ethical AI governance frameworks for autonomous decision systems
- Lead cross-functional audits of AI algorithms for bias mitigation and fairness
- Develop regulatory compliance strategies for emerging AI legislation (2026+)
- Establish industry standards for AI transparency and explainability
- Partner with policy think tanks to shape future AI governance legislation
- Train AI developers on ethical deployment methodologies
- Monitor global AI ethics trends and recommend proactive measures
Qualifications
- PhD in AI Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance or responsible tech leadership
- Published research on algorithmic bias mitigation or AI transparency
- Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, and evolving regulations
- Experience with federated learning and differential privacy techniques
- Expertise in cross-cultural AI ethics implementation
- Track record of influencing corporate AI policy development
- Strong background in causal inference and fairness metrics
