Responsibilities
- Develop and implement ethical governance frameworks for AI systems deployed in healthcare, finance, and critical infrastructure
- Lead cross-functional task forces comprising engineers, legal experts, and social scientists to audit algorithmic fairness
- Author position papers for UN AI summits and advise Fortune 500 clients on responsible AI adoption
- Design predictive models to identify emergent ethical risks in generative AI and quantum computing applications
- Establish industry-wide standards for transparent AI decision-making through our open-source initiative
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in AI ethics and publish findings in Nature AI journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years applied AI ethics research
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier AI ethics venues (e.g., FAccT, NeurIPS Ethics Workshops)
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes (EU AI Act, US Blueprint for AI Bill of Rights)
- Experience with adversarial testing methodologies for fairness, accountability, and transparency
- Exceptional ability to translate complex ethical concepts into engineering requirements
- Fluency in Python and statistical frameworks for bias detection (AIF360, Fairlearn)
- Public speaking experience at global technology policy forums
