Responsibilities

- Conduct adversarial testing to identify edge cases with ethical implications
- Create ethics-by-design checkpoints for product development sprints
- Partner with legal teams to ensure GDPR/CCPA alignment in AI deployments
- Lead cross-functional ethics working groups with engineers, designers, and policy experts
- Develop transparency protocols for explainable AI systems
- Report on ethical performance metrics to executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or ethics compliance
- Proven experience with regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST RMF, etc.)
- Deep understanding of algorithmic bias mitigation techniques
- Exceptional stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published work on AI ethics or relevant conference presentations
- Experience with ML model auditing tools (e.g., IBM AI Fairness 360)
- Strong background in privacy-preserving machine learning methods
