Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for fault-tolerant systems
- Lead cross-functional research projects with AI and materials science teams
- Publish breakthrough findings in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, etc.)
- Collaborate with quantum hardware engineers to bridge theory-practice gaps
- Advise on quantum security frameworks for post-quantum cryptography
- Mentor junior researchers and foster inclusive innovation culture
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related quantum field (2021-2026 graduates welcome)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Strong background in linear algebra, complex analysis, and quantum mechanics
- Experience with quantum simulation frameworks (Quil, QASM)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts to practical applications
