Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel AI architectures for next-generation autonomous systems
- Lead cross-functional projects integrating quantum algorithms with classical machine learning
- Publish 2-3 peer-reviewed papers annually in top-tier journals (Nature, Science, NeurIPS)
- Develop ethical frameworks for AI deployment in regulated industries
- Mentor junior researchers and patent innovative methodologies
- Secure $1M+ in annual research grants from DARPA and NSF
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Physics, or Mathematics from an R1 institution
- 5+ years of experience in quantum machine learning or generative AI
- Published work in top-tier AI/ML conferences (ICML, ICLR, CVPR)
- Expertise in PyTorch, TensorFlow, and quantum frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Strong background in computational complexity theory
- Proven track record of translating research into production systems
- Security clearance eligibility (US citizenship required)
