Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping, to ensure maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor warehouse staff, conducting performance reviews to ensure high morale and skill development.
- Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement procedures to reduce shrinkage and improve accuracy.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to OSHA safety regulations and company policies, conducting daily safety inspections and accident prevention drills.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement strategic solutions to streamline operations and reduce costs.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar operational role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and maintain a positive work culture.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
