Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks, to load, unload, and transport materials safely.
- Perform daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate stock transfers within the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to prevent accidents.
- Collaborate with team leads to optimize workflow efficiency and meet daily production targets.
- Keep the work area organized and clean to ensure a hazard-free environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Previous experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and basic math skills for inventory management.
- Valid Driver’s License (Class C or higher).
- Reliable attendance and punctuality record.
