Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-20°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts in cold storage environments
- Monitor inventory rotation and FIFO compliance for perishable goods
- Conduct daily safety inspections of refrigeration equipment
- Document temperature logs and product movement records
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA cold storage protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid forklift certification preferred (will train)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
